A BIT OF HISTORY

The Ohana project started in 2004 with the purchase of the building in Martintar and the planning of a completely new architectural design in order to transform the existing structure into hotel-style apartments.

In March 2005 major renovation commenced and the original building has been almost totally rebuilt, with new plumbing and electrical installations throughout.
Big efforts have been made as well to finish off the building with high quality tiling, household furnishings and applicances.

 
On October 22nd 2005 a ceremony was held, following the Fijian traditions, for the blessing of the premises with the honoured presence of His Grace Petero Mataca, Archbishop of Fiji, and the attendance of several business people and friends.
OHANA NEWS...
 

On May 28th 2006 a special function and dinner party was held at Ohana Apartments for the awarding of prizes of the second
OHANA FRIENDSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT.
Here in the picture Mr Eroni Mavoa (on the right) congratulates Mr Olaf Allen Jr, winner of the first prize and trophy.

The first tournament was held in October 2005 and was won by Mr Sitiveni Rabuka, former Prime Minister of Fiji.

The golf tournament was held at Denarau Golf and Raquet Club.

Next tournament is scheduled for October 2006.

September 2006: we celebrate 1 year of successful operation.
